It’s been a while since I last wrote on my blog:) We have had a chance to leave with the caravan to Sundsvall in six days. We have shopped at IKEA, gone for a drive called the Coast road. A wonderful drive along the coast with many beautiful sights and old fishing sheds made to the summer house.

One day as we shopped, I found two jelly rolls for more than half the regular price, 98 skr instead of 329 skr skr. Now I have to come up and sew something of them

Last week I sewed pillowcases for a friend with a wonderful fabric from a company called Jobs. Fabrics are printed by an old edition (1945) Design by Joseph Frank..

I have also had time to quilt my quilt course, Crazy Among Friends, a pattern by Buggy Barn. I hope to take some pictures this weekend at the finished quilted top..

{long since last time…}

it’s really long time since I wrote on the blog : ( I have not the desire/time to blog or to sew. But this week I had the energy to picked up a quilt that has been finished for a very long time It was sewing on a course for about 4 years ago . A course that my friend Stina had a few girls on. We learned sew patterns from the Buggy Barn. It was an interesting way to sew quilts. But now finally it´s time for me to quilt it so hopefully it will be completely finished before the end of this month

When Stina was here and had her show, she lived with me all week and it was so wonderful to have her at our home When it was time for her to go home, I got such great gifts, among other things a small makeup bag, a cute little pincushion and a crocheted collar with flowers and leaves .. It is so nice to have ”home”-made gifts ..

Again a big Thank you Stina:)

Next week the whole family goes on a little vacation trip with the caravan. Where we are going it´s not fully determined but in any case is a goal to visit a quilt shop and of course, IKEA ..

Today my wonderful friend Stina open hers exhibition at Nordanå here in Skellefteå there I live.. Last night when I picked her up after she put everything in order. It was warm weather and the sun shone so nicely around the area where she has her exhibition.

Today when we woke up the rain pours down, and tonight’s weather is conspicuous by its absence. But since I got a glimpse of the show yesterday, it will still be a wonderful day for visitors who arrive there:)

and when I stand on my way in to the room I can see this lovely view…

This is a little sneak a peek view for you and I know Stina will update her blog later with more wonderful picture and I hope to take some more picture today when I arrived on the vernissage

I dag fick jag mitt sommarswap paket ) I det hittade jag härliga saker för lata dagar antingen i hängmattan eller inne vid dåligt väder *s* En tidning med lite hjärngympa, ett spel som kan passa hela familjen, blir vi fikasugen så bakar vi lite goda muffins enligt handuken Ett stort tack vill jag ge till min swapvän Sanna

Även i år har vännen Mindi ordnat en sommar swap. Denna gång fick jag Eva som min hemliga vän..tyvärr glömde jag bort att ta kort på vad jag skickade till henne men tur som var så har Eva tagit en bild och detta var vad hon fick av mig..

I’m sorry that the draw for my giveaway is late. Worked all week and at the same time had a cold with a voice that more or less been away. So I have not managed so much in the evenings but it is early to bed nights to try to get well. But today it feels better and then I get the draw of my secret gift ..

Last Sunday we had mothers day here in Sweden When I came home from my visit at Stina my daughter give me two pink package. Inside them I found a cookbook and a map that I can put some quilt pattern in.. Love them and a big thanks to my wonderful DD…

This year my friend Mindi had arrange a Pink Swap and of course I want to join this swap… So in my mailbox today I got this lovely pink package from Linda A big thanks to you, Linda, for lovely gifts.

Now I think it´s time to start with my quilt that I put up at Stina wall last Sunday…more updates will come later about that..

{ weekend update no. 2 }

The weekend got to fast and I started with some small project that I had on mine list First of all to made me a new little wallet to the summer. But it in the end I did two and now I hope they works well to use the credit cards and money ..

I also started to sew a Tilda doll to one of my friend but forgot to take photo but it´ll came when the doll is ready
At last Christmas a got a layer cake, Moda´s Rouenneries French Generals. I had no idea what to to do with this one but yesterday when I look at some Homespun magazines I found a pattern and got the idea to use this layer cake.. So at Stina I put my fabrics up at her design wall and now I know what I will do this week between my work and homework

I also got my block from blocks switching between Louise and Stina .. Last week, I know that Louise was his block and it will be so exciting to see what she puts together with them .. Many thanks to you ladies of the only blocks … I hope you have time to continue to fall.

This weekend I had sent some my time with my wonderful friend Stina….and I think the photos can speak what we have done

In February and March we had our birthdays, but much happened in our lives that made it took a while before we could give our gifts to each other. But this weekend when I came home to Stina it was time to give each other gifts ..

Of course, I forgot to photograph the gifts that I gave to Stina but if you look in to her and you’ll see them
