It’s a while since I updated the blog but there has been much to do. Has sewn bit blocks to a switch which I participate with Stina and Louise. Stina has had his and now I have just finished blocks to Louise. Tomorrow, they go off in the mail. After that, I can show you some pictures of them 😉

I made these blocks for Stina and it was really fun to sew 🙂

Last week I was at the Umeå and finished my training I have completed one years at the university. We ended with an exhibition and this was one of the projects that I made…

Unfortunately, the quilt is not entirely clear on this picture. Did not manage to get some good pictures of it at the show. Hope to be able to take a photo of this home some day 😉

Now it is time to sleep for a bit to maybe sew tomorrow 🙂

{Back in school again…}

Last fall I write about the school I had started. Last week I started the course 2 of which I did last fall .. It was nice to meet all new classmates who come from all of  Sweden .. At our meeting last week we made a study visit with guided tour at Umedalens sculpture park ..

What did we more? We had a workshop there we have 3 options to work with fabrics. One of them was to shrink a fabric (50cm*50cm) with needle and thread  to a size of 20 cm x 20 cm. That was no problem but to do it the opposite ie to make a piece of  fabric on the 25cm x 25cm to double the size was more difficult 😉 Some of my classmates did  great work 🙂

a little quick update

before I went to bed.. The last 3 day I had sew on my school project and last night I was finish, almost 😉
I had a few hand seams to do but I´ll do them to morrow.. I thought that some one maybe want to see photo of my work and here you can see a small photo, I will take some more to morrow and of course from my school friends work to. Today we have made a small exhibition of our work and I will show you photos later this week..
