Today when I got mail I found a whole bunch of my favorite fabrics in my mailbox roses, plaid and stripes … what more could you ask for I just love the plaid and striped fabrics but would love to have more colors than those who arrived today .. but it is just to keep looking forward after more

around the blogs, you can now see a lot of Hexagons and it looks like so much fun making them. But now to my reflection how do you prefer to do them? With these ready-hexagon which can be bought or them you can print from a printer with plain paper? How many do you need to get started, what size is best and what do you use for stitching? Reflections and questions are so many and how to sew them in the best simple way Especially for me who thinks it’s so boring to sew by hand but still want to try

So any tips and ideas are received warmly by all of you girls out there

B I R T H D A Y !

Yesterday when I come home I found a Big white Letter with my name on What could that bee… I open it very fast and inside I found two beautiful gifts and a card…It was from my friend Stina and was suppose to open on my birthday!

So today it was the right day and I open them this morning. I´ll say a big thanks to you Stina for those lovely gifts )

From my daughter I got tablecloth in black leather. Thanks for them, Jennifer

That’s was my day with presents and nothing had anything to do with quilting I think I must buy my own present but it´s not so funny because I like to got surprises sometimes

But now it´s time to went of friends and have dinner

First of all I had done my little Christmas tree in Le Petite finish and it feels good

Today I made a little bag of jewelry to my daughter. She wanted something to keep her jewelry when she sports. It got to be in the same fabrics that she has sewn a large bag of. The small bag was so fun to sew, so it’ll probably be a few more and maybe even some for myself;-)

{long since last time…}

it’s really long time since I wrote on the blog : ( I have not the desire/time to blog or to sew. But this week I had the energy to picked up a quilt that has been finished for a very long time It was sewing on a course for about 4 years ago . A course that my friend Stina had a few girls on. We learned sew patterns from the Buggy Barn. It was an interesting way to sew quilts. But now finally it´s time for me to quilt it so hopefully it will be completely finished before the end of this month

When Stina was here and had her show, she lived with me all week and it was so wonderful to have her at our home When it was time for her to go home, I got such great gifts, among other things a small makeup bag, a cute little pincushion and a crocheted collar with flowers and leaves .. It is so nice to have ”home”-made gifts ..

Again a big Thank you Stina:)

Next week the whole family goes on a little vacation trip with the caravan. Where we are going it´s not fully determined but in any case is a goal to visit a quilt shop and of course, IKEA ..

Today my wonderful friend Stina open hers exhibition at Nordanå here in Skellefteå there I live.. Last night when I picked her up after she put everything in order. It was warm weather and the sun shone so nicely around the area where she has her exhibition.

Today when we woke up the rain pours down, and tonight’s weather is conspicuous by its absence. But since I got a glimpse of the show yesterday, it will still be a wonderful day for visitors who arrive there:)

and when I stand on my way in to the room I can see this lovely view…

Last Sunday we had mothers day here in Sweden When I came home from my visit at Stina my daughter give me two pink package. Inside them I found a cookbook and a map that I can put some quilt pattern in.. Love them and a big thanks to my wonderful DD…

This year my friend Mindi had arrange a Pink Swap and of course I want to join this swap… So in my mailbox today I got this lovely pink package from Linda A big thanks to you, Linda, for lovely gifts.
