Last week I had worked with my SSCS gift and a little ornament to my Secret Santa Christmas Swap friend.. Because it is a secret I can not show what I have done but this is a small hint to my swap friend

What more had I done?! O yes I had finish the Paganini top now I only need some batting and after that I will try to quilt it.. I’m so bad at to quilt that I dread every time it’s time for it I would love to join a course for learning more about it and also to take the big step .. But for now it looks like this 

After I had done the quilting I´ll sew the cute little lace on and put some old pearl buttons I found

It was some update on what’s happening here in my studio. Now it’s time to start up to sew some gifts and a few baby quilts that are ordered..

Så har vi kommit till den roligaste tiden på året dvs december månad och Mindi´s Julswap
För 4:e året i rad deltar jag i Mindi´s Julswap. I år är vi 35 st tjejer som byter julklappar..Vi byter inte med alla 35 utan vi får via lottning en person som vi gör 24 julklappar till, en för varje dag att öppna ända till julafton Så i förrgår hämtade jag mitt paket och nu är min julkorg fylld med 24 ljuvliga små paket Tror ni att jag längtar till den 1 december?!

Tyvärr kan jag ju inte lägga ut hela högen med paket som jag skickade till min hemliga swapvän för då avslöjar jag ju mig Men en liten tjuvkik kan jag alltid bjuda på

Så det är lite vad jag har att se framemot ända fram till jul

yes, you could say that it is almost done Unfortunately, I again made a mistake and the fabric for borders around is not enough: ( So now I have to come up with a solution that is good. Either it will be a linen fabric with a crocheted lace around or so can I take a completely different color around instead of the beige I had imagined!

But so far it looks like this

if I would choose linen fabric, I fear that when the scalloped borders should be cut fabric fraying so much before it is finished and it will probably be difficult to get the fine curves of the fabric ..
So something good, I must figure out this afternoon / evening

For OPAM I got only one thing finished, but many other nice projects are commenced. From scraps Imade a small miniquilt. I think it may be used as a coaster for tea / coffee cup ..
